Establishing a firm foundation

4/8/2019

Over the past two weeks, construction has been focused on more digging and establishing a firm foundation for our building. Concrete foundations and masonry foundation walls are continuing in the new Sanctuary area and deep excavation for the fire tank and deep footers has continued over these two weeks. Please pray for no rain to fill up the hole!
As we move into this week on the construction site, concrete for deep footings are being poured through the start of the week. As this portion of the work is being completed, major deliveries will start occurring the week after Easter (4/22), including the firetank and steel. A large crane will be also present on the property. Some of these materials will be stored along the parking spots until it gets installed. Please be mindful when parking on Sundays.
Lastly for this update, the erection of the steel structure for our new building is expected to start in early May! As always, thank you for your patience and understanding as the work on our new building continues.

It's interesting to know that the start of the delivery of the materials would be when the deep footings are already installed. This gives me an idea of the process when we have our house constructed next year. It would probably start with residential excavating services when we hire contractors then the footings will be installed after, so it can give me an idea where we would be at that point.

It really helped when you said that the materials will be in a parking spot for the meantime until they are to be used for the construction site. With that in mind, we should make sure that the area is clear for the materials when we hire contractors for excavation services now. Since we want to have them ready at the site so the process will be seamless when the next task is up for the property we wanted to build.

Thank you for mentioning that concrete for deep footings is being poured at the building site as you start this week. My sister is constructing a new building for her new workplace. I'll advise her to select a reputable concrete foundation business that can start working as soon as they arrive on the construction site.

I've never thought about how rain can ruin a project when it comes to digging and excavation. My uncle is working is building a shed in his yard and he needs to dig into the ground so we don't worry about it blowing away in the wind and such. we've been looking into hiring an earthmoving company to help him get rid of the extra dirt he won't need anymore.
