Preschool (Ages 3-4)

We consider our Preschool Class to be a vital part of our ResKids ministry; 3 and 4 year olds are at such a wonderful age to being exploring who God is and who they are in relation to Him, in a fun, engaging and hands-on way that builds a solid foundation as they transition to Kid’s Worship in Kindergarten.
Our Preschool program is offered only during our Sunday morning worship services. During Saturday evening worship childcare is provided for preschoolers in the toddler room. Sunday mornings Preschoolers may be dropped off before the service in their classroom in the main church building. Our preschoolers are taught by trained volunteers in the congregation. Prior to dropping off your child, please visit the ResKidz Welcome Center to check your child in and print a name tag/pick-up ticket. If this is your first time at Church of the Resurrection, you may register your child(ren) before you worship with us. |

Gospel Project for Preschoolers
We use the Preschool version of the same Gospel Project curriculum we use with the Elementary children so that those with older siblings will be learning the same thing their older siblings are learning. The Gospel Project is a 3-year chronological adventure through the Bible to discover God’s ultimate rescue plan and how the entire Bible points to Jesus. When your Preschooler transitions to Elementary school they won’t miss a beat because the preschool and elementary lessons parallel each other.

- 15 minutes - Arrival & Free Play/Lesson Activity sheet
- 10 minutes –Hands on activity/game to introduce the lesson
- 10 minutes – Bible story video and memory verse song
- 10 minutes – Snack
- 15-30 minutes - Games, activities, or crafts that reinforce what we learned
- 15+ minutes – Free Play
