We will trace the life of Jesus from Galilee to Jerusalem, giving particular attention to the first century Jewish context in which Jesus lived. Our goal is to gain a better understanding of Jesus’s ministry and a better application of His teachings for us today. Our tour will be guided by a well-trained and certified Messianic Jewish/ Christian guide who will accompany us throughout the trip. We will also enjoy great hotels, outstanding food, and deluxe transportation. Church of the Resurrection is excited to offer this trip for the fifth time in February 2023 (previous trips in 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019)!

Trip Itinerary Overview:

Sunday 2/5: Departure – Depart the United States for an overnight flight to Israel.
Monday 2/6: Arrival in the Land of Promise – Arrive in Tel Aviv, and travel for an overnight stay on the Mediterranean Coast.
Tuesday 2/7: Light to the Nations – Caesarea Maritima, Mount Carmel, Sepphoris, and Nazareth; overnight in Galilee.
Wednesday 2/8: Sea of Galilee – Chorazin, Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, and a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
Thursday 2/9: Northern Israel – Golan Heights, Winery Tour, Katzrin, Mount Hermon, Caesarea Phillipi, and Dan.
Friday 2/10: The Jordan Valley –Jordan River, Beit Shean, Qumran, and the Dead Sea for a swim and an overnight stay.
Saturday 2/11: The Judean Desert – Visiting Masada and hiking to the waterfall at Ein Gedi.
Sunday 2/12: Jerusalem in the Time of Jesus – Worship service at Christ Church, and a tour of the Tower of David Museum.
Monday 2/13: Exploring Jerusalem – The Temple Mount, Western Wall Tunnels, Herodian Villas, and the Southern Steps.
Tuesday 2/14: Bethlehem – Church of the Nativity, Shepherd’s Fields and City of David Tour
Wednesday 2/15: The Restoration of Hope – Israel Museum, Yad Vashem, Messianic Passover Seder meal.
Thursday 2/16: In the Steps of Jesus – Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Kidron Valley, Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the Garden Tomb.
Friday 2/17: Return home.
