VESTRY LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
The vestry are elected members of the congregation who serve with the Clergy to provide leadership of the church.
OUR VESTRY
Our vestry is currently comprised of nine members that serve three-year terms. Vestry members are elected during our annual all-parish meeting in the fall, with an open call for vestry members beginning in June.
The Vestry must be members of Resurrection as well as men and women of spiritual maturity.
The presiding officer of the vestry is the rector.

What are the Responsibilities of the Vestry?
The responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church's mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.

Who are the Officers of the Vestry?
There are two wardens. The senior warden leads the parish between rectors and both wardens serve as a support for the rector. Wardens must be sitting members of the vestry. A treasurer and a secretary are also chosen. These officers may or may not be vestry members.

Vestry Elections: Considering the Call
VESTRY NOMINATIONS for 2025-2026 Vestry are due by October 10th
The Vestry Nominating Committee is seeking nominees to fill three vacancies on the 2025/2026 Vestry. Nominees must be voting members at Church of the Resurrection. If you have any questions about the nomination process and/or duties and responsibilities as a Vestry member, or would like to volunteer your name or nominate someone else, please contact Fran Lenzo. Nominations are due no later than October 10 and will be announced October 19. Elections will be held on November 2.
