RESMISSIONS

By partnering with other gospel ministries we seek to follow the mandate of Jesus to proclaim the gospel and build the kingdom in “Jerusalem (local), Judea and Samaria (national),  and the ends of the world (international)” (Acts 1:8).

GROWING A HEART FOR THE WORLD

The best way to enlarge our capacity for caring is to spend time with people who lack resources. Res Missions offers a couple of ways to do that.
Short (3-4 day) National Trips
These trips are to places in the country that have experienced catastrophic weather tragedies, offering hands on help in clearing, food distribution, rebuilding etc.  A trip such as this can be structured for individuals, small groups, or families.

Short-term (10-14 days) International Trips
Most Christians do not live in the United States. They look different than us, and have different cultures and value systems, yet are part of God’s beautiful and diverse Kingdom. A short term trip to see, listen, and learn from our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world is life and perspective changing. Res Missions began last year with a trip to Tanzania. If there is enough interest, we will return in July 2026. We are also actively researching new opportunities for short term trips in other parts of the world.

RES PARTNERSHIPS

Since its inception in 2005, Church of the Resurrection has given away 10% of all general tithes to share the gospel and partner with like minded ministries to build the Kingdom.

Res supports  organizations or missionaries who:
  1.  Have a gospel foundation and purpose
  2.  Seek to evangelize, build disciples, train leaders, and/or serve practical needs in the name of Jesus

More favorable consideration is given to those ministries in which our parishioners are personally involved and ministries that have an Anglican affiliation.
The following are among the organizations whose work has been supported:
