Embark on an unforgettable journey to Greece with an overnight flight to Thessaloniki, setting the stage for an adventure filled with history and discovery. Travel through Northern Greece, from Thessaloniki to Philippi and Kavala. Explore the ancient wonders of Corinth and Athens, from the iconic Acropolis to Mars Hill, where Paul delivered his speech on the "Unknown God." Marvel at the awe-inspiring monasteries of Meteora. We will then embark on a Cruise to Mykonos, Ephesus, Patmos and Santorini.

ITINERARY OVERVIEW

  • Thursday 4/1: Departure – Depart the United States for an overnight flight to Thessaloniki.
  • Friday 4/2: Arrival and Acclimate in Greece – Arrive in Thessaloniki and gather at our hotel
  • Saturday 4/3: Tour  Thessaloniki – Visit Paul's 1st step to bringing the Gospel to Europe. Drive to Kavala
  • Sunday 4/4: Philippi – Via Egnatia to Philippi and the Baptistery of Lydia.
  • Monday 4/5: Travel through Berea to Kalambaka.
  • Tuesday 4/6: Meteora –Visit the world famous Byzantine monasteries and enjoy dramatic vistas.
  • Wednesday 4/7: Athens – Acropolis, Mars Hill, Agora and many more historic and architectural wonders of ancient Athens
  • Thursday 4/8: Corinth-Athens - Visit Ancient Corinth, where Paul met Aquilla and Priscilla. Return to Athens and Lycabettus Hill
  • Friday 4/9: Cruise to Mykonos  – Sail from Lavrion Port to Mykonos, the island of windmills
  • Saturday 4/10:  Ephesus and Patmos – Excursion through the impressive remains of Ephesus and sail on to Patmos and the Monastery of St John, visiting the Grotto of Apocalypse.
  • Sunday 4/11:   Santorini – Worship together on the boat, then explore the exquisite, whitewashed villages of Santorini
  • Monday 4/12: Athens/Return Home

COST

The Cost for the “Traveling the Footsteps of Paul” Trip is:
* Double $4,275 plus airfare per person
 * Single $5,720 plus airfare

Costs include all meals except 6 lunches, excursion tips, exchanges, pre-trip materials.

Additional costs include airfare, travel insurance, transportation to and from airport.

While participants will book their own airfare, we will help you with departure and arrival times and offer group transportation to and from BWI or Dulles for an additional fee if there are enough going at the same time. Scholarships may be available.
