What is a Vestry?
The vestry is the legal representative of the church with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property. Our vestry is currently comprised of nine members that serve three-year terms. Vestry members are elected during our annual all-parish meeting in the fall, with an open call for vestry members beginning in September. The presiding officer of the vestry is the rector.

The responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church's mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.

Officers:
There are two wardens. The senior warden leads the parish between rectors and both wardens serve as a support for the rector. Wardens must be sitting members of the vestry. A treasurer and a secretary are also chosen. These officers may or may not be vestry members.
