UNIT 19: GOD THE SON
Big Picture Question: What makes Jesus different? Jesus is fully God and fully man.
Key Passage: "This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners"- and I am the worst of them." 1 Timothy 1:15
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem, He grew up and began to prepare for His ministry. Jesus demonstrated from a young age that He understood His role as God's Son. When Jesus was baptized, God confirmed His sonship. Jesus was subsequently tempted by Satan, but he did not sin.

UNIT 20: EASTER
Big Picture Question: Who saves us from our sin? Only Jesus saves us from our sin.
Key Passage: "If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
God's plan for redemption, which began before creation, culminates with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus was welcomed as King but less than one week later was crucified by the people. Christ's sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection made it possible for people to have a pure relationship with God.
