Evan DeVita - Director of Administration and Communications
Evan is the newest member of the staff here at Resurrection. He has joined us from Central Presbyterian church where he spent nearly four years as the communications coordinator, developing publications and websites. Evan has a great passion for music, having earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Towson University studying voice performance. He is an active worship leader at Central and the founder/director of their contemporary worship choir. Since 2003, Evan has been a music producer and manager of the recording studio Sound Locker located in Towson, MD. He currently lives in Lutherville, MD with his wife Serafina and their Golden doodle Thelonious (Theo).

The Rev. David T. Drake - Rector
David, a native of New Canaan, CT, graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and worked in student ministry for 11 years in Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Boston. He received his M.Div. from Trinity School for Ministry near Pittsburgh, PA. David served as Rector of Holy Trinity Church, Raleigh, NC from 2005-2010. He was called to serve Church of the Resurrection in the spring of 2010. David has a passion for the gospel, for people, and for seeing men and women develop their leadership potential. He plays basketball, tennis, and enjoys snow and water skiing. An avid reader of American history, he is an ardent fan of Northwestern football. He and his wife, Kristin, a Baltimore native, have four young daughters: Keating, Gracen, Annie and Storie.

Mike Donohue - Preaching Team
Mike is the Baltimore Area Director of Search Ministries, an outreach to adults which offers opportunities to ask ‘the hard questions of life’ in the context of small groups and home gatherings. He also leads a weekly men’s bible study at the Baltimore Country Club, and has been on the teaching staff at Grace Fellowship Church.
Mike is a graduate of Loyola High School and the University of Richmond. He has an M.Div. From Capital Bible Seminary. He is ordained through Search Ministries. Mike is married to Anne Donohue, and has four children. He coaches soccer and basketball, is interested in sports, exercise and reading.

Anissa Good - Finance Manager
Anissa joined the Church of the Resurrection in the Fall of 2010. She is a graduate of Campbell University with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting. She has had extensive accounting experience, CPA training, and handles the books for several small for-profit and non-profit businesses. She grew up in Columbia, Maryland, and has lived in Baltimore City for twelve years with her husband and three children.

Stephen Holmes - Music Director
Stephen joined Church of the Resurrection as our Music Director in August 2011. He began his formal musical training with The Maryland State Boychoir (MSB) at the age of nine. His strong ties and commitment to the MSB continue today where he is now serving in his twelfth year as Music Director, overseeing the boychoir's six ensembles. Stephen also serves in various leadership roles throughout the Maryland and D.C. area, and serves on the board of directors for the Canticle Singers of Baltimore, the MSB, and The Choral Music Educator's Association of Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Music degree in Voice and Organ Performance from Towson University, and his Masters degree in Choral Conducting from University of Maryland, College Park. Stephen and his wife Tiffany, and their daughter Imogen live in Baltimore's Mayfield community in the city.

Claire Trainor - Director of Children and Student Ministry
Claire, a Baltimore native, has loved working with children all her life. After graduating from Towson University, and then living as a missionary to underprivileged children in Peru for several years, she moved back to Baltimore to get married and work as a Baltimore City elementary teacher. After the birth of her son, her desire to be at home more with him led her to leave teaching and come on staff, part-time, with Resurrection to coordinate the Children’s Ministry. After a year with Resurrection, she also felt the Lord calling her to take on the role of Communications Director. Claire, her husband Shannon, and their son Caiden currently reside in the Parish House on the church’s property.

Dedi Whitaker - Director of Pastoral Care and Assistant to the Rector
Dedi has lived in Baltimore since she was 12 years old. Baptized and confirmed in the Anglo-Catholic Church, a pivotal moment in her life of faith came when, as a young wife and mother in 1978, she gave her life to Jesus. For 30 years she was involved with the ministry of FOCUS, (Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools) through which her two, then teenage, daughters became serious about their Christian faith. When her family began going to church, they returned to the Episcopal church where she and her husband had been married, and they eventually ended up at St. John’s in Glyndon, where the seed that became Church of the Resurrection began to germinate. Dedi has now worked, in various roles, for Church of the Resurrection since its beginnings in 2005.
