_ Church of the Resurrection believes that knowing God, building relationships, and serving others are the key to living an authentic and growing Christian life. When we gather with a shared mission to know Christ, to love one another, and to serve others, God is glorified, and we grow, we serve one another, and become more like Christ.

Community Groups are small groups of people from the congregation that meet in the homes of group members. These groups provide an opportunity to be in closer community with each other and to be encouraged in our faith.

The goals of Community Groups are:  To KNOW, GROW, and GO

1) To Know one another: giving opportunity for regulars and newcomers to get to know one another in an easy and relaxed
     environment.

2) To Grow in our understanding of Christ, the gospel and how to live our faith in our daily lives.

3) To Go and serve one another and others for God’s glory, others’ benefit, and our joy.

Most groups meet weekly or bi-weekly. The group decides when and where to meet. We encourage everyone in the church, first-time visitors and regular attenders, to join a Community Group in order to get connected, experience fellowship, and grow in their faith.
