The steel erection of the new building was completed last week! In the days that followed this, there was additional welding and plumbing up of the columns and the Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) rough-ins under the slab for the Commons Area were finished.
This week we have been watching work progress on the site, including Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) rough-ins under the slab for the Sanctuary, and MEP rough-ins for 2nd Floor of the Commons Area. The concrete slab is being poured on grade for the Commons Area. After this is poured, the concrete floor slab for the 2nd floor Commons Area will be done.

Next week, MEP rough-ins continue under the slab for the Sanctuary and building up of cold formed metal framed walls on the exterior of the Commons Area will commence. These will eventually become the backing for the final brick facade! Please keep in mind that all activities are weather pending, especially the concrete pours. Keep praying for good weather during the working days!
And finally, here's one last picture taken this afternoon: You can see the roof trusses are starting to be installed!
